This program is part of a US Government initiative against HIV in Kenya that receives funding from PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Applications are invited for the following positions: ADHERENCE AND PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT ADVISOR Location: Nairobi Overall Job Function: As a member of the ICAP Senior Technical Team, the Adherence and Psychosocial Advisor provides technical support to ICAP programs in Kenya, in the planning and implementation of adherence and psychosocial support activities required for HIV care and treatment services and strengthening linkages with the communities within ICAP-supported facilities in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation. The appointee will work closely with the in-country Director of Programs and the Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor. Key Responsibilities: * To plan and oversee the initiation and implementation of adherence and psychosocial support package at ICAP-supported sites * Ensure training of HCW in Adherence support using the national training curriculum * Provide leadership in the design and coordination of the training activities in adherence support for community health workers and PLWHA. * To provide technical assistance to health care facilities for planning, implementation and evaluation of patient tracing systems and related data management, data quality assurance, data summarization and analysis * To liaise with Adherence and Psychosocial Support Officers to strengthen adherence, psychosocial support and defaulter tracing activities * Work closely with the Adherence and Psychosocial Support Officers to strengthen HIV community mobilization activities and linkages with community based structures * To work with the NASCOP APS working group in coordinating implementation of APS activities as per the national guidelines Requirements: * Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent * Minimum 4 year's relevant experience * Familiarity with district level health systems * Familiarity with HIV community programs including Peer Education SENIOR PROGRAM OFFICER Location: Kisumu Overall Job Function: The Senior Program Officer is a member of the senior regional management team and oversees field programmatic activities and site support for efficient delivery of quality services.
