Excellent in SAGE PASTEL accounting software.

Primary Responsibilities
Receiving orders from the distributors
Coordinate dispatches of drivers for pick-ups and deliveries to the local market.
Verify and keep records of outgoing shipments
Daily tracing of loads and advising customers on shipment status.
Proactively check for any potential or actual shipment failures and agree on a solution that will achieve customer satisfaction, maintain and enhance their loyalty to the company
Ensure customer customs documentation needs are met as precisely as required and customs documents brought back promptly for invoicing
Provide regular updates to customers in line with the agreed call back times and customers preferred communication channel.
Follow up within agreed time frames until an appropriate response has been received.
Work within a team setting to deliver excellent customer service by responding to all received information requests in a timely, complete and professional manner

Skills and Requirements
Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding is a MUST
2 years working experience in a busy freight company

Daily tracing of loads and advising customers on shipment status.
Proactively check for any potential or actual shipment failures and agree on a solution that will achieve customer satisfaction, maintain and enhance their loyalty to the company
Ensure customer customs documentation needs are met as precisely as required and customs documents brought back promptly for invoicing
Provide regular updates to customers in line with the agreed call back times and customers preferred communication channel.
Follow up within agreed time frames until an appropriate response has been received.
Work within a team setting to deliver excellent customer service by responding to all received information requests in a timely, complete and professional manner

Skills and Requirements
Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding is a MUST
2 years working experience in a busy freight company
Must be well versed with sea export documentation and procedures.
Be computer Literate
Social skills with sensitivity to customer service.
Mastery of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptability to work with project deadlines

Summary
Our client is a hardware (tools, building materials, industrial equipment) and home-ware (garden and home accessories) super store.

Primary Responsibilities
Coordinating all imports and exports
Initiating and following up on orders to suppliers
Generating cost benefit analysis based on the various market segments
Ensuring all goods ordered are insured and inspected
Coordinating with all clearing and forwarding agents to ensure proper documentation and SLA's are adhered to
Liaising with the warehouse team to ensure proper tracking of all stocks delivered to the warehouse
Following up on supplier payments
The import manager is required to be fastidious about every detail of each shipment and be accessible to resolve any issues that arise to avoid delays in shipments
They are responsible for generating client invoices in a timely manner
Keeping up to date on the latest customs and international trade laws is essential to be proficient in this position

Education, Requirements and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field
3-5 years relevant experience
Candidate must be a problem solver
Should be able to find creative ways of solving problems
A good network in the import industry will be an added advantage
Need to be organized

Kenya Canners Savings and Credit Co-operative Society Limited, a leading Sacco with its operations based in Thika Town wish to recruit the services of a Branch Manager and Internal Auditor.

Branch Manager

Qualifications and Competence:-
Bachelor of Commerce Degree either in Accounting, Banking, Micro-Finance or Economics.
Be in possession of CPA (K).
Must be a good team leader.
Must have Business Development and Marketing skills.
Must have good Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
Have ability to supervise staff.
Must be Computer Literate.
Age between 30-40 years.
Minimum of four years experience in a Sacco environment or Micro-Finance institution.
Candidates with a diploma in Co-operative Management and experience in SACCO and FOSA Operations will have an added advantage.

Internal Auditor

Qualifications and Competence:-
Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting Option) from a recognized University with minimum experience of four years in Auditing.
Be in possession of CPA (K).
Be computer literate.
Be able to work independently.
Age between 25 – 35 years.
Candidates with a diploma in Co-operative Management and experience in SACCO and FOSA Operations will have an added advantage.

Pay is a monthly net of Ksh 15,000/= dependent on level of training and/or experience otherwise negotiable

Shop Sales Executive

Performing other tasks as and when requested by the outlet Manager Safe custody and accountability for M-Pesa Cash and E-Float

  • Assist M-pesa Customers with deposit and withdrawal transactions
  • Serve walk in clients while up holding high quality level of service
  • Sell across the range products
  • Post FSE and Shop Sales to the system(Syspro)
  • Maintenance of creative and attractive displays
  • Gather market intelligence
  • Prepare monthly, weekly and daily reports
  • Liaise with the outlet manager in managing stock levels and recommending new products.
  • Reconciling stocks, sales and cash collections by close of business.
  • Perform routine cashiering from time to time
  • Assisting with regular stock checks and being vigilant at all times to minimise stock loss
  • Take charge of shop operations while the Outlet Manager is away
Qualifications
  • Diploma in sales and marketing. Public Relations or Business Management

  • Should be innovative.
