Lee Construction Limited is a fully Kenyan owned Company involved in a wide variety of development projects and has successfully completed Civil Engineering and Environmental Services including: water supply
and reticulation, dams, sewerage and drainage, building works, road construction, telecommunications and power works.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Plant and Equipment Assistant to assist in the management and maintenance of motor vehicle and plant equipments for the various Projects. For this position, Lee Construction seeks someone who is highly motivated with strong problem solving skills and high level communication skills (both oral and written).

Academic

Minimum Certificate in plant engineering or mechanical engineering

Logistics and Supplies qualification

At least 4 years in automotive and plant maintenance

Key skills and qualities

Good interpersonal skills, excellent negotiation skills, abilitiy to multi task, prioritize and work under pressure; analytical and able to communicate effectively and in a timely manner.

* Advice on repairs of equipment and plant whilst conducting site visits

o Plan and schedule maintenance of plant and equipment;

o Maintaining of daily work tickets;

o Getting all documentation for plants and motor vehicle on time i.e. insurance, inspections etc and ensuring that the same are up to date;

o Documents job cards system and field store systems;

o Monitor and Control fuel consumptions;

o Administer the stock control and inventory management function;

o Work in collaboration with the site workshop staff to make sure that the equipment is safe and operates at peak conditions every time;

o Keep records of equipment failures and provide needed information and data to the Site Administrator and Plant and equipment Manager;

o Make sure that vendor maintenance and repair manuals are kept current and filed properly;

o Implementation and enforcement of Transport and procurement regulations, policies and procedures.

IT Job Description

This professional will perform all aspects of web server support including installation and configuration, application installation, and assist with network connectivity troubleshooting, and record all contacts,
troubleshooting steps, and resolutions into the IT Service Desk Management tool.

Job Responsibilities:

* Define standards for all web server builds and configurations in accordance with standards

* Participate in defining security for all web environments

* Interface with project managers and developers in the design and architecture of new web services

* Manage change control in the web environment to insure maximum uptime for all client-facing systems

* Test and deploy OS and application patches for web servers

* Monitor all web environments for acceptable performance

* Manage all new build deployments for the web environment

* Maintain a test and staging environment for all web applications

* Support the marketing team with external marketing site changes

* Interface with third-party web services providers

* Insure web infrastructure is backed up as necessary

* Report to business regarding utilization and performance of web applications

* Research, resolve, and respond to questions received via telephone calls, e-mail, walk-ups, and call-backs in a timely manner, in accordance with current procedures

* Assist in person, or remotely, in the resolution of support issues to ensure timely impact on user satisfaction

* Monitor client support performance and maintenance schedule

* Provide support and assist in the management of company's Information Technology (IT) asset management system

* Microsoft Windows Server

* Linux

* IIS (v6 and above)

* Apache

* TCP/IP

* Citrix NetScaler Load Balancing preferred

* Relevant Degree/Diploma or equivalent

* 3+ years support experience within the following areas:

o Current Microsoft Windows OS

o Linux or Macintosh operating systems

o Current MS Office applications

* Troubleshooting printer and related network hardware in a business environment

* Experience with computer software imaging technology

* Exhibit a consistent positive, professional attitude

* Possess strong customer service skills to meet or exceed customer service requirements

* Ability to function as a team player

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Applicants must be holders of a Bachelors degree in Commerce, Economics or Business Administration (At least 2nd Class Honours, Lower Division).

They must also be in possession of a CIPS Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Purchasing and Supplies Management from a recognized institution.

They must be members of a professional procurement body.

They must have a least five (5) years experience in a middle level management position in a large organization.

They must possess outstanding management and administrative skills in procurement and Supplies and management and must also be well-versed in Public Procurement and Disposal Law and proven integrity record. They must be computer literate.

Under the direction of the College Principal, the successful candidates will be expected
to-Coordinate preparation and consolidation of Annual Procurement Plan Provide secretariat services to the College Procurement Committee Ensure that all procurement transactions are as per the Public Procurement and Disposal Act (2005) and Public Procurement and Disposal Regulations (2006) Advise on Public Procurement Law, among other duties.
