| clerk of Works Job in Nairobi Kenya Posted: 23 Aug 2011 06:12 AM PDT ICAP of Columbia University is working in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation and the Ministry of Medical Services to strengthen HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment services at provincial and district health facilities. This program is part of a US Government initiative against HIV in Kenya that receives funding from PEPFAR through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). ICAP in Kenya is currently overseeing the renovation of over 45 health facilities in Central, Nyanza and Eastern provinces. Applications are invited for the following position for two (2) months on contract basis effective 1st September 2011: Clerk of Works Location: Based in Nairobi with travel to Central, Eastern and Nyanza Provinces Overall Job Function: Reporting to Finance and Administration Director, the Clerk Of Works will be responsible for overseeing the construction and renovations of government health facilities in Central, Nyanza and Eastern Provinces to ensure that they meet contractual, legal and public health requirements.
